The Organ at St. Paul's is the culmination of work over the years from the original instrument which was built by the preeminent American organ company, Hook and Hastings of Boston in 1884.  In 1915 The Wangerin-Weickhardt Company of Milwaukee rebuilt the front organ followed by the LaMarche Brothers of Chicago in 1953.  Finally in 1970 Jerroll Adams of Milan, Michigan & John Weissrock of Milwaukee added to the front organ and built the Antiphonal Division located in the rear of the sanctuary with the addition of a new console.  The console consists of five manuals and pedalboard; French Manual Transer; 30 general pistons; 88 division pistons; General Cancel; Crescendo Pedal; Main Organ Silent; Antiphonal Organ Silent; Unenclosed Stops Silent; Main Blower; and Antiphonal Blower.
